Principal Hardware Engineer
ICx DAQ Electronics is seeking a qualified engineer to lead the electronic hardware design activities of our Design and Development department. The individual will work closely with software engineers, test technicians, production staff, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Leads a small team of engineers in the design of electronic products
- Conceives architecture, specifies technical requirements, defines higher level tasks and major components
- Performs hands-on microprocessor and analog electronic circuit design
- Provides technical guidance and direction for other team members
- Interfaces Production and Test departments for introduction of new products and problem solving
- Works with outside PC board layout services
Qualifications
- 10 or more years developing electronic hardware
- BSEE
- Proven ability to develop circuitry having microprocessors and analog
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Must be a US citizen or possess permanent work visa or green card
